Travelling Exhibitions

Donegal County Museum, Letterkenny: From Present to January 2014

In order to celebrate Ulster's past sporting achievements and to inspire the youth of the future, the Ulster Sports Museum Association has created a Travelling Exhibition that highlights all that is memorable within Ulster sport.

The purpose of the exhibition is to allow the general public to experience our rich and diverse sporting heritage and to provide feedback and comment about their sporting heroes and memorable sporting moments.

The Travelling Exhibition was launched for the first time at Belfast City Hall in December 2009 and has since been on view at the Eddie Irvine Centre, Bangor, the Down County Museum, Downpatrick, Mossley Mill, Newtownabbey and St. Patrick's Trian, Armagh. The exhibition is scheduled to tour around the country and has been booked up to the end of 2012.

'Maradona good, Pele better, George Best!' This touring exhibition looks at a range of local sports and sporting heroes, and will include memorabilia from the north-west.
